Review on 👌 Frustration-Free Packaging: Frieling USA Double-Walled Stainless-Steel French Press Coffee Maker, Polished Finish, 17 Ounces by Katherine Peterson

This is our second Frieling FP. The first worked fine but there was still water in the dome lid. We were unable to drain the water and replace the dome as it was unavailable after checking the location several times. We were a little uncomfortable with the water retention and decided to replace the entire unit. Lesson learned -> Do not put the dome cover in the dishwasher to clean, just wipe with a damp cloth. Yes it was an expensive lesson but the replacement was a conscious decision because we prefer FP coffee and aside from the canopy issues the original Frieling works well. (Update Review) On our second purchase, coffee drips down the side of the spout when pouring for no apparent reason, but a minor design change may have caused the pouring issue. We don't see any flaws, but the constant dripping on our countertop each morning is annoying and messy, so we're back to using our inexpensive Bodum FP. Unfortunately our guarantee has expired. For the inconvenience of cleaning and problems with drips, I give 2 stars. Makes good coffee, but nothing more.
