Review on Enhance Engine Performance with ACDelco GM Original Equipment 8006 Spark Plug Wire Heat Shield by Gary Christon

These heat shields have springs. Why? When I first saw the nibs I was REALLY confused as to their purpose. Added capture function? Added heat transfer? Improved way to remove boot for next setting? It's better to leave her, isn't it? NOT CORRECT! Boots kept dangling. I just pulled out the springs and miraculously the boots aren't hanging out anymore. I still don't understand the purpose of the sources other than to frustrate me and burn my hands. Guess time will tell. I will post this review and then ask a question about its purpose. The guards will probably be OK WITHOUT FEATHERS, and also the boots won't be dangling.
