Review on Electronic Circuit Auxiliary Desoldering Cleaning by Michael Vargas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Came just in time. Useful tools.

I usually don't leave feedback after receiving the product. But yesterday I was just finishing the project when they arrived. Unfortunately, after installing the node I just "finished", I found that I forgot to install the filter capacitor. I didn't want to take everything apart. I doubt that without these tools I would have been able to manipulate and solder the wires without disassembly (fortunately the cap was on the accessible edge of the board). The standoffs only gave me about 1/2 inch of access to the bottom of the board. With just a few of these tools, I got the job done in about ten minutes. With just ten minutes of use, they more than paid for the time I saved. I am sure their quality is the same as other sellers. The Takedown tool seems worth the extra money it costs to get the tools and not without them certainly nothing to write home about, but it will work if you have nothing else. Wire brushes might work but they are very rough and uneven so I wouldn't buy a set for this tool either. The hook, fork and removal tool (small pry bar) are awesome (just what I need when I need them). I see most of the other tools are useful too. I'm only giving 5 stars because I'm so glad they arrived just when they were needed most. (I wish I had had them sooner but it worked out fine). I'm sure there are better quality tools out there if you're willing to pay more. But if you've ever soldered electronic components and don't have these or similar tools, you can't go wrong with a set of these given their price and utility.

Pros
  • APPLICATION: These soldering auxiliary tools can be widely used in PCB assembly and welding maintenance in the form of various connectors. For professional use, ideal for electronic and electrical soldering.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
