This tool is the holy grail of clay texturing tools. These little pins don't move unless you move them manually. I work with air dry, polymeric and ceramic clay, trust me it makes life so much easier. Sure, you can buy a full set of clay tools for the same amount, or even just a few dollars for a cheap, finely textured tool, but you end up with a giant mess in your hands with wires sticking out of space. no fun 👎 Grab one, this high quality little guy will last you longer than you think. I attached a picture with a pattern "bush" of Fimo horrible clay, these wires didn't sleep a wink 😉.
