Seems like a pretty decent add-on, but the main reason someone will get their hands on this thing is its ability to clamp things, but the clamping mechanism is flimsy and barely functional. If it's tightened enough to stay in place, it's about to break. Even tightening enough to bend the clamp piece, it still comes loose when I try to pull the connector out. Also, the rubber pads on the clip fell off and I had to re-glue the rubber pieces with epoxy. Unfortunately, this is the only clip I could find on a power strip with a decent surge protector. I'll probably just have to pour epoxy or screw it on before it stays in place. Also, the cord for that clamp on the extension cord would need to be longer, it would probably be some distance from the plug.
