I was really frustrated at first because after building this motherboard and installing a Ryzen 7 2700 processor my computer wouldn't boot. I tried updating the BIOS with a flash drive (which apparently is required to support the latest processor, but this board should have come with a BIOS that this Ryzen processor can already support), but it has also the BIOS not accepted. I was almost on the verge of making a comeback until I realized I was mixing and matching 2 different types of RAM. Once I removed the excess and put two 16GB RAM in the red slots, everything worked like clockwork. Also, the problem with it not getting into the BIOS was my own stupidity (sort of); I was trying to boot the MSI B450 GAMING MAX BIOS BIOS while my B450 GAMING MAX PLUS board. MSI's download site for the two boards looks almost identical, so it's easy to fall into the trap. But after those initial hiccups, it works great. I haven't gotten into the realm of overclocking and such, so I'll update this review when I do.
