This design is so close to real work it makes me sad. The main problem is that it lacks rigidity. It's too carefree. I adjusted the roll so they were tight and that helped. But it still has plenty of room in the center of the device. The linear bearing on the ball screw is too short to prevent movement of the spindle holder. If you use it on a CNC machine, note that you need to set the feedrate very low. And you should forget about chopping hardwoods like oak. This axis should really only be used on MDF or foam. Since I have to work very slowly with this axis, the CNC is only suitable for creating templates and forms. It will never work like a production machine.
