At 67 I started using hybrids in place of long and mid irons a few years ago with good results. Since I was having more and more problems getting reliable shots and good results with short irons, I decided to replace these with hybrids as well. I felt the price of these racquets was low enough to try them and even if they were terrible I didn't lose much. Well, they're not bad. I played them for about 30 rounds. I hit them harder than regular irons. I feel good. On the other hand, these racquets are significantly heavier than a set of high quality racquets. I feel it is harder for me to hit them with the consistency I would like to see since all my other racquets are regular weights. I have problems with the remote control. Sometimes the shot goes much further than I expect. Overall I think they are worth the money. Bottom line: if I could find a premium set of hybrids to replace them, I probably would.
