Review on Enhance Rear View Safety with 720P HD Digital Wireless System - Haloview MC7109 by Buddy Colbert

See clearly what's behind you, day or night!

I was looking for a camera system for our new motorcycle trailer. I've looked at Tadi Brothers, Falcon Eye and this one. Haloview had the same good specs and warranties as others at a lower price point, so I went with it. I installed the ca109 camera that came with the system as a backup camera on the back of the trailer. I also bought a ca108 camera which I installed in the trailer so we can keep an eye on the bikes as we ride and make sure they are safe. Both cameras were wired to the chaser circuit and remain on while the truck is in motion. Pros I choose: The build quality of the monitor and cameras is high. Excellent (720p) camera and monitor resolution. The image from the ca108 camera in the trailer looks like bright daylight when closed. The night vision of the ca109 cameras is even better. The wireless signal from the back of the 16ft trailer to the double cab truck is strong. Cons: The ca108 camera's antenna extends from the rear instead of the side like the ca109 that comes with the system. This required me to make a bracket to slide it out the back of the trailer. I would like to buy another ca109 instead as it has a side antenna. I wish the monitor came with a suction cup mount instead of a U-mount. We'll be moving the monitor between pickups when towing a trailer, and the suction cup mount makes this much easier. In short, this system has excellent resolution day and night, easily attaches a second camera, and has a strong signal between cameras and monitor (the trailer is a 16-foot fiberglass Ironhorse wide-body motorcycle trailer powered by a Tundra cabin is pulled). This is a very useful tool for keeping track of what's behind (and inside) the trailer.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Not all fit
