Easy to install but the video gets choppy at high speeds.

Very easy to install if you have the furrion wire ready. Installation took about 20 minutes. I have a 26ft trailer and a double cab pickup. When driving at 55 mph or faster, the video started lagging by a few seconds. Hung up several times for 10-15 seconds. Works great as a backup camera. There is a signal booster. I'll try it.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine

Good only for driving, good for reversing

Picture is good but the movement is very choppy even at low speed. At highway speeds, there's a delay of at least three seconds between what's happening and when it's on screen. I have a small 20ft trailer and could definitely use an $80 range extender but I don't know how well it would work with the wattage right now. The next complaint is night vision. It switches back and forth between night vision and day vision every time a street lamp or car light hits it incorrectly. Must have a…

Quick and easy installation with great picture quality

Easy to install on existing Furrion mount. The camper is 26 feet long and is towed by a double cab truck. There are no problems with the signal. From time to time (once or twice per ride) there is an extra second or two of delay, but the system corrects itself and works properly again. The system is a game changer when changing lanes as I no longer have to ask the co-driver if she thinks there is enough space for me to cross. Also, reversing to campsite spots is now very easy. I can use the…

Installation was easy, perspective is not great

Installed this unit on our Grand Design Imagine. It really was plug and play; No hassle with installation, all adapters and brackets bolt directly to our Furion bracket/wiring. The monitor unit is quite dated by today's standards. I wish it was more modern, maybe with a touchscreen and a more streamlined antenna. While driving, the device has a pretty decent latency for real-time display vs. image, making it useless for real-time monitoring while driving (lane changes, etc.). Range is not a…

FEATURES, VALUE AND BENEFITS

Our Haloview MC7109 7' 720P HD digital wireless backup camera arrived from Canada today. Excellent packaging, easy to read and understand user manual and the camera itself has a steel body, very strong and durable design. The display screen has a simple information architecture that is easy to follow and read. Numerous components are neatly packaged with an adapter for mounting on the Furion's pre-assembled camera mount. These guys have thought of everything. I will comment more once I have it…

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Mounting instructions could be clearer

I am installing a Haloview wireless backup camera on my caravan and these are my first observations. (Note: A license plate bracket for mounting the camera is included but not mentioned in the instructions). The adapter mentioned fits my Furrion mount on the back of the trailer, but again the instructions are missing installation instructions. When delivered, the camera is mounted on a fairly stable mount. It looks like I need to remove this mount from the camera (4 small screws) and then…

Excellent addition to safety and convenience

Why is this important for safety? We'll leave it on the road and see what's behind us. (We installed it on top of the back of a class C van. Why is it so convenient? We can see (and maybe hear) when reversing). It's also safer, of course, but basically it means that you don't always have a second Person needs to be placed behind the van where the camera shows where we are and what's there Limitations: It's an extremely wide angle lens so when people drive down the road they look like they're…

See clearly what's behind you, day or night!

I was looking for a camera system for our new motorcycle trailer. I've looked at Tadi Brothers, Falcon Eye and this one. Haloview had the same good specs and warranties as others at a lower price point, so I went with it. I installed the ca109 camera that came with the system as a backup camera on the back of the trailer. I also bought a ca108 camera which I installed in the trailer so we can keep an eye on the bikes as we ride and make sure they are safe. Both cameras were wired to the chaser…

Easy to install, great features, great picture.

It's been a great experience so far. Wireless setup was easy. I actually bought a 7 inch monitor and a rear camera, side cameras and a separate camera to use as a 'rear camera' while driving. This is in preparation for a month-long 5,000-mile trip across the country in my 26 foot. Heartland Wilderness trailer. Although Halovision recommended using the "Max" option due to the distance between the back of the RV and the monitor position, I went with the standard configuration since I have a fiber
