Review on Enhance Rear View Safety with 720P HD Digital Wireless System - Haloview MC7109 by David Pirlet

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to install, great features, great picture.

It's been a great experience so far. Wireless setup was easy. I actually bought a 7 inch monitor and a rear camera, side cameras and a separate camera to use as a 'rear camera' while driving. This is in preparation for a month-long 5,000-mile trip across the country in my 26 foot. Heartland Wilderness trailer. Although Halovision recommended using the "Max" option due to the distance between the back of the RV and the monitor position, I went with the standard configuration since I have a fiber optic trailer. This saved money and made installation easier. I also left out the auto backup and blinker options as I wanted full control over which cameras are on and when. . No drop out at 55 mph. Signal is good, although outside of the "normal" range for highway driving. I assume that a GRP trailer doesn't bother that much. The picture quality is amazing. - PCK. y to see what's outside, and in addition to the backup view, I really like having a great "rear view" that allows you to see trucks, buses, and other vehicles blowing me down the freeway can long before they catch up with me . Trailer owners will understand how useful this can be. I cut the sticky mount to fit the center shelf on my Ford Expedition and the mount fits perfectly. I was able to discreetly route the cord that connects to the power connector, and it was long enough to keep the cord from the monitor coiled and tied behind the monitor. This allows me to turn the monitor on and off without having to unplug everything - the plug in the middle of the power line was an unexpected benefit. I also have to point out that the supplied sun visor works great. It's plastic so I try to be careful with it, but it's nice to have. I must add that I contacted Haloview support both before and after the purchase. They responded overnight and answered my questions professionally. Given that they're based in Hong Kong, the overnight reaction is understandable. I really appreciated their responsiveness and professionalism. So, in my opinion, one and only "scam", and that's a small thing. The monitor offers options to display one camera, all four at once (quad view), or three at once (triple view), and there are some nice screen layout options in triple and quad view. Triple View only allows you to use one rear camera with two side cameras. I'm using a view where the rear camera is in the top half of the screen and the left and right side cameras are in their respective halves of the bottom half. As a backup, this is a great view as you can see both the rear and the blind side of the trailer when reversing. My very small disappointment is that I can't achieve a similar look with the rear camera and dual side cameras. So when I travel I only use the rear view. It's possible to switch cameras and have a rear view from two sides, but then you lose the backup from both sides. Not a big deal, and I can't judge if a dual backup rear view would be a huge benefit. Anyway, I've messaged Bella at support and she's forwarding my request to her engineering team, so maybe this will be available in the future. So in the end I'm very, very happy with Haloview's solution. Considering it was half the price of some of the packs I looked at I'm even happier with this purchase! The only disappointment
