The first commissioning of my new water system went well. Used a tester and it showed my well water was 478 and the new filter was 003. It was great. Next refill was about 2 days later, my unfiltered water was 476. Things got crazy here, at 675 zero filtered water came out and the water was acidic and smelled like fish. So I threw away the filter and put in a new filter, tested my water, it showed 469, after filling ZeroWater it showed 000. I was impressed. As soon as the device was halfway, I refilled the reservoir and checked the water an hour after filling. It said 125. On the third day, I poured and covered two glasses of water, one from the tap and one from ZeroWater, and placed it on the kitchen counter. Three days after the new filter was installed, I refilled the reservoir and checked again. It read 498 and the water started to taste acidic and slightly fishy. On the fifth day the water became completely acidic and very fishy. Tastes good, no fishy smell. ZeroWater was acidic and smelled like fish water. I took the filter out of the storage tank and the side was slimy and the area where the filtered water drains into the storage tank was sticky and slimy. I think bacteria grow in the filter. Let's speak to ZeroWater to find out what happened.
