Review on 🔧 Strut Mount Kit: KYB SM5276 - Enhancing Stability and Performance by Vinny Howard

Replaces the stock front brackets on a 1998 Buick Riviera with pivot bearing. I installed this with interchangeable struts from KYB GR-2. The brackets come with three new mounting screws that I used in place of the old ones. I had to keep the old washer that fits under the new strut nut, as well as the round plastic wedge that separates the bracket from the spring. The brackets on the left and right are the same, as are the luggage racks. Replacing the struts and brackets greatly improved ride and handling over the worn old ones. Brackets do not come with bumpers or protective covers; I could reuse mine. At the time of purchase they came free with Prime and were the lowest price I could find anywhere. KYB produces a quality product; This is the second kit I've replaced (different cars) and I've been impressed with its performance.
