The mount will not work properly with an inverted bearing. The reason I say check them is because both sets came with the bearings installed incorrectly. Of course, Amazon took care of this problem.

I replaced the original Buick GM/AC Delco with this and can't stand the noise. Shock absorber nut has been tightened. I left the other side with a used original after replacing the shock absorber and everything was fine, no noise. kyb needs to analyze this part and check for tolerances and quality control. the impact cylinder is too loose and moves over a hole that is too large for it. The Excel G gas spring was ok, but it was rubbish.

Replaces the stock front brackets on a 1998 Buick Riviera with pivot bearing. I installed this with interchangeable struts from KYB GR-2. The brackets come with three new mounting screws that I used in place of the old ones.
