I really like Paula's Choice products, at least the ones I've tried. However, this is the first PC lip product I've used and I was excited to try it. It contains hyaluronic acid and konjac sponge balls (<- I have no idea what it is) for volume, peptides for fullness and squalane, soybean oil, cocoa butter and shea butter for smooth and plump lips. So there are good things about this product but it lacks some of the usual ugly things like parabens, artificial flavors and animal testing. All Paula's Choice products are 100% safe! Unfortunately I was disappointed with this lip balm. It is thick, occlusive and very cloudy. It can improve the health and condition of my lips, but I don't really like the way it feels. To be honest I hated it at first but now it doesn't bother me anymore so I'm getting used to it. And I really like the metal applicator, just like the PC Eye products. But I have other lip products that I prefer to use, so I don't know if I will continue to use this one. And especially given the current price of $29, I won't be buying it again. However, you may like it. This product would get three stars from me, but I'm giving it an extra star for its lack of cruelty and because I really like Paula's Choice as a brand. But it's too dark for me. I hope my experience with this product can help YOU make a more informed purchase. Have fun shopping!
