It works well with my Canon EOS Rebel T3 (1100D in Europe). You can connect the receiver to the shoe for the flash, then the cable from the receiver to the input on the side of the camera for a shutter release controller. You can connect the main hand controller to the camera directly as well, but the provided cable looks to be too short. It can be done though. The functions are pretty easy to learn. Just follow the directions in the manual. I took a few test shots with this unit and it works fine - delay, bulb, and the others. It seems the controller can't control video recording, though. Either I haven't figured out how to do it or the controller doesn't have an ability to start/stop/pause video.Mine did not come with the 4 AAA batteries needed (2 for the receiver, 2 for the hand controller), but I'd rather use new batteries that I put in.Overall, a good buy for the price.
