Helps prevent my cat from suicide. I had a bad experience when a cat chewed on electrical wires causing severe burns in and around the mouth. Luckily she didn't accidentally kill herself in this little experiment! Having to force-feed the cat for a month while the burns healed was a frustrating experience for both of us, and I never found out what cords she wanted to try. So I bought this to prevent future chewing. So far they have worked great! I had them on all the wires in my house for a year and there were no more attempts to electrocute them. I hope we never have to deal with string chewing again!
