I finally got a Roomba and was amazed at how clean my house got without much effort. I thought switching to HEPA filtration would improve it even more. But the fine mesh clogs more easily and tapping the filter against the wall of the bin is not as effective. I have a compressor and can blow the dust out (in the backyard), but it might be easier to just take a can of compressed air and blow through the filter for a second or so every week (outside again). Be sure to blow in the opposite direction that air normally travels through the filter.
