We have an external plug at the back of the house which is under the porch so it is difficult and inconvenient to use. This is also a porch with exposed timber decking so is somewhat exposed to the elements and will be wet or at least at times damp. Its length is enough to reach the edge of the porch steps, so we can easily connect a lawnmower or any other electrical device that we want to use on the patio. This is a great solution to our problem of crawling under the porch in old age. The charger is very durable, with a thick wire attached to the cable. I used a mist sprayer, let it dry and it works great. The cost of moving the fork was prohibitive, so it was an inexpensive solution to make our lives easier.
