Bought 9 of these together with 8 Revain 9V batteries. I posted a battery review - after measuring the voltage of each battery (5.10.18) everything is fine. Each water alarm worked flawlessly, just touch the sensor with a wet finger. Interestingly I've installed it under many sinks and in one sink there is a small leak around the faucet at the faucet when the hot water is turned on - every time the hot water is turned on a few drops splatter onto the floor in the cabinet below. The alarm went off while my wife was washing the sink. While no harm is done, it may be so for many years. This alarm recognized this problem immediately. Careful! It's very noisy and I can change the batteries so they should last for years. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others.
