Works well with. for coffee, tea and espresso
I use this rubber stopper in combination with a glass lid. It's not a perfect seal, but it sits well in the Chemex throat. The rubber stopper itself keeps my coffee a little warmer, but not for long. In combination with a lighter/tea cosy, my coffee stays hot/warm for hours. I probably don't need a glass lid, but I like the look and use it to hold the rubber stopper in place when pouring. Yes, you need both hands to pour anyway.
- ☕ PROBLEM SOLVED. Prevents heat from escaping the top of the coffee pot and helps extend the time your coffee stays warm. It also acts as a lid, protecting your coffee from external contaminants and debris. If you wish, you can also turn the lid over and use it as a holder for our stainless steel filter.
