I think most people use this camera as an outdoor camera but a friend recommended me to use it indoors to keep an eye on my dear dad. With this camera I can know when he wakes up every day and make sure he takes his pill. Setup is very easy, no cable needed, picture quality is clear enough, I can hear and talk to it remotely through the two-way speaker. A friend of mine told me that if it fires too often, the battery will drain quickly and suggested some ways to save battery including installing it in a corner of the kitchen so it doesn't wake up often and adjusting the detection sensitivity on a quiet low level. . I charge it fully before first use, so after 10 days I still have a 91% charge with about 5 wakeups a day. Overall this camera works great indoors too and I have recommended it to other friends of mine.
