Review on πŸ”§ Milwaukee Electric Tools 2503-20 Cordless Driver by John Bennett

Great drill, but E Clutch doesn't work.

This drill is small, compact and has a lot of torque, is very comfortable to use and is also lightweight. However, the electronic clutch does not work at all. I have an older Makita with a mechanical clutch and even at the highest speed when the screw or bolt was tightened the clutch would engage and stop turning the screw. This drill, however, once it picks up speed (even very quickly), it will turn the screw or bolt in very quickly, and when it is tightened, the bolt stops and the drill violently smacks in the other direction. The clutch twitches the first time the clutch is engaged, because the e-clutch doesn't seem to have time to de-energize the motor. And yes, I switched the drill to slow speed and it still works the same. The only way I've found to get the clutch to work is to screw the bolt almost all the way in and then pull the trigger until the bolt is tight. . Then the clutch works properly. As I said basically an impressive drill but the E Clutch really lets it down, if you want to carve Phillips screw heads and twisted torx bits please buy this drill.
