I originally bought the ReoLink Lumos not only because of its overall features and price, but also because, unfortunately, I got infected by the high star ratings. I'm not sure how many people don't experience the same headaches, but here's what to expect. 1) No matter how many times you try to adjust the sensitivity zone, it will NEVER be at a comfortable level. The camera sends me motion or activity alerts, e.g. B. Morse code. 2) To make matters worse, when the screen comes up it just goes gray (unlike my expensive "Ring" camera). Countless times when I try to play it, or any of the warnings for that matter, it repeats but then tells me "Failed to load playback" or "Failed to view live". 3) Also at night when it detects movement, it will turn on its light unpredictably, meaning it may or may not turn on. I don't know why in the middle of the night when you turn on the light it doesn't always come on 100%, but that's only half the problem. When illuminated, it remains active for less than 10 seconds and then turns off. There is no setting for how long the light should stay on. You'd think it would stay on at least as long as it detects motion, but that's not the case. ReoLink Lumos is a good idea but a very poor execution. The system has its own page that you can open on your desktop or laptop (which is more than what Ring offers for a third of the price), but it's by no means user-friendly or logical in its general functionality. Unfortunately, I was planning on buying a few more to create a network around our house, but it turned out to be such a hassle that I had to look for something else.
