Description of 📷 Reolink Lumus 1080P HD Outdoor Security Camera with Spotlight - Plug-in WiFi Camera for Home Security System, PIR Motion Detection, Two-Way Talk and Siren Alarm, Waterproof, Cloud/Micro SD Card Storage

Reolink Lumus delivers full-color videos even after sundown. You can see more valuable details to identify people, vehicles, and more objects around the clock. This outdoor camera can tell humans from flying bugs or twigs, and send you notifications that really matter. Besides, you can set activity zones or adjust motion sensitivity to fit in any situation and minimize unneeded alarms. When motion is spotted, you’ll get the instant alerts - push notifications on Reolink App and alert emails - to let you know someone is approaching your home. Also, its powerfully loud siren and custom voice alarm can deter intruders when in emergency. Not only can you view live-streaming, but also hear and speak directly over the camera with 2-way communication. Insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB) to save motion-triggered events, choose 24/7 continuous recording with Reolink NVR (optional), or customize scheduled recording.

Best to avoid on bullet cameras

Well I see these cameras aren't even available anymore but I still want to leave a review in case they come back. AVOID THEM I bought a couple of new Reolink devices this holiday season to expand my setup and two of them came with it. They are good IF they ever connect. Wireless communication on them - GARBAGE. I also have a pair of Lumus and they are vastly superior to wireless devices. I installed these cameras on both of my doors as they have built in lights that are triggered by motion…

Pros
  • PIR + MOTION DETECTION: The combination of motion detection and PIR detection greatly reduces the number of false alarms. In addition, you can set activity zones or adjust motion sensitivity and schedule to any situation and minimize unwanted alarms.
Cons
  • So so

Excellent value for money, clear night vision and two-way communication

For the price I like it, it's NOT "wireless", it comes with a cord to plug into a wall outlet. Easy setup, it connects to your wireless internet and that's how it works. I bought a memory card thinking it would be needed to store videos, but it uploads to the cloud. I think that the card only gives you the option to increase the amount of storage (I could be wrong). The reason I specifically bought this model is because I wanted two way communication that works great and is loud. You can set…

Pros
  • COLORED NIGHT VISION: Reolink Lumus with built-in headlights delivers full color videos even when there is no light source nearby. You can see more valuable details at night to identify people, vehicles and other objects.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

I am using Blue Iris as a security controller. All other cameras I have work with it. The information on this webpage did not mention the lack of functionality with BI. So pretty much useless for me. No many hours of struggle could find a solution to this problem. The good thing is that it is very well packaged as a standalone device and also very well made. Indoor test results were satisfactory for a single image on a mobile phone. The Reolink client software is good but always hangs on one of

Pros
  • When motion is detected, you'll receive instant notifications - push notifications in the Reolink app and email notifications - to let you know someone is approaching your home. Plus, the powerful, loud siren and customizable voice alert can deter intruders when there's danger.
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Better than many more expensive competitors.

I've been looking for ages after putting up with the competition's OS for too long. This camera meets almost all the requirements I was looking for: - Fast response time. I'm no longer attached to short shots of a person or machine just leaving the frame, the whole event is captured by this camera and I'm notified within seconds. - Built-in expandable memory. Supports 64GB miniSD. Sufficient for >1 month if your sensitivity is fully activated. No forced subscription. If you want cloud…

Pros
  • Not only can you watch live, but you can also listen and speak directly through the camera thanks to two-way communication.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

"Failed to load playback/Live view error " and other torments

I originally bought the ReoLink Lumos not only because of its overall features and price, but also because, unfortunately, I got infected by the high star ratings. I'm not sure how many people don't experience the same headaches, but here's what to expect. 1) No matter how many times you try to adjust the sensitivity zone, it will NEVER be at a comfortable level. The camera sends me motion or activity alerts, e.g. B. Morse code. 2) To make matters worse, when the screen comes up it just goes…

Pros
  • This outdoor camera can detect people by flying bugs or branches and send you really important notifications. In addition, you can set activity zones or adjust motion sensitivity to any situation and minimize unnecessary alarms.
Cons
