The light was as expected. You can either press them to rotate them or use the remote control. You need 3 AAA batteries and you can connect them to a regular cell phone charger. There are color changing options, and you can set them up to change colors quickly or slowly on their own. There were 6 pieces in the box. I will use the rest under my kitchen cabinets. Edit: There are 2 remote controls.
