I wanted to check the oven in a new apartment and I bought it on the recommendation of a culinary site. Put it next to an old thermometer and it's only been working since it arrived. The whole time I thought it was an old thermometer that was turned off. Now the CDN arrow won't move at all until you shake it well. You hear something rattling. Unfortunately my 30 day return period has expired so I lost $13. Makes me think the hotplate is gaining momentum.
