Review on Cat Mate Inc Locking Door by Stacie Stewart

got this after getting dizzy reading the reviews. I wanted tan because it fits my situation perfectly, but I didn't want to end up in the trash just to be tan. It turns out to be a well-made, beautiful and well-functioning door. The plastic frame is thick and strong and should never be a problem. The magnet closes the door instantly and completely silently, but a slight push from the cat opens it. The door is lined with down to protect against drafts and is silent. I figured the lock feature wouldn't be used as it only leads to the basement. Then I realized that if the basement bulkhead door is open, the cats can run away. Just a little touch and they can't get through as long as I have the outside door open. Big ! I bought a large door as my cats are large. It's perfect but not huge. If your cat isn't a shrimp, why force her to squeeze through a narrow door? Time will tell about durability but so far I'm totally impressed with this little door.
