I recommend that all screws for these type of installations are either torx or square head. Phillips screws are old school. A step above the slot head. I always ditch the screws that came with the kit and replace them with a torx or square drive. Don't worry about removing the head. We have laws for almost everything, how about the screw head configuration! Call your convention representative. We can do this!
