The most important thing, everything worked. It is not for the following reason 5. The hose is smaller and thinner than the original washer hose. The clamps aren't big enough to wrap around the wide end of the hose, so I had to snap two clamps together to tighten the connection. If there is a larger diameter bundle, more durable hose, then take it. However, I couldn't find any. So I think this is the best option out there. I recommend to those who need to extend the drain hose of the washing machine. Much easier than opening the back of the washing machine to replace the original hose with a longer one.
