One of the highest quality hard drives on the market for PS3 Slim upgrade. I've never had the chance to test it on a PS3 Phat, so I'm in the dark on this model. The Seagate 500GB 2.5 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive does a great job of expanding and boosting the performance of your PS3. Slim. With so many GB of storage, download times will be smoother and downloads much easier and more timely. Make sure you stick to 5400 RPM for PS3, anything higher can cause crashes and overheating issues, 5400 is the highest and safest max for PS3 to run at optimal performance. I would like to mention that I had a minor crash and a freeze or two after installing a Seagate hard drive, but after a few days of use the system on the hard drive crashed and it's been top notch ever since. If you want to upgrade your PS3 Slim, highly recommended!
