Review on Bike Wall Mount: Premium 🚴 Wood Hanger for Indoor/Garage Bicycle Storage by Meagan Thompson

Was very excited about this product when I bought it. Was looking for a minimalist approach to hanging/displaying a bike. But when unpacking, a queasy feeling set in. The wood appeared to be of good quality but lacked the build quality I was expecting from looking at photos online. The ending was very easy. Unfortunately, my expectations of the rich wood look that accentuates the wheel and the aesthetics of the display were not met. Second, and probably most importantly, there are NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. Every part of this article must be collected. Below is a rubber insert in a wooden gutter. Due to the lack of instructions I have found that this can cause problems for the less critical consumer. Installing the hardware on both a wooden base and a wall presents a problem because you don't consider how the holes and threads line up to create a level base for the bike to stand on. It would be helpful to pre-drill holes in the wooden base. Not to mention instructions. Another design/aesthetic flaw is that the rubber insert for the wood base was larger than the channel would allow, leading to additional user modifications during assembly. Another flaw related to the lack of instructions allows stability when fixing to the wall, depending on the skill of the installer. Since the customer assembles all the parts together, there may be an error in aligning the holes in the wall bracket with the wall stud. Although drywall anchors are provided, I don't find it structurally sound as required for daily hanging of the bike and for actively removing and hanging the bike. Overall poor design and lack of thought for end user implementation.
