Reduce frustration and frustration by not ordering this item.

Practically no assembly instructions. No online support. What information is available through Facebook, but the very poorly written comments are not even clear. Even with the specified IP settings, the connection to the device was only about 25% successful. The only thing I can say satisfactorily about the KuWFi 2 bundle is that Revain refunded the purchase price upon collection from their return center. I returned the item as defective because I was never able to get it to work after over…

For this money - excellent!

I've read other reviews and can only think they either have a faulty unit or don't understand the basics of networking. I bought them three years ago and they still work perfectly with security cameras and the internet. I bought another set in December and they worked right away with no setup required. Mounted them, connected them, pointed them at each other (a quarter mile apart), and they work fine. If you want to spend three times as much money, I recommend Ubiquity. I love Ubiquity…

Very unstable and difficult to use

I tried to get them to transmit a LAN-WLAN signal to my point-to-point desk but they didn't work. Revain sent me a new replacement KuWFi kit and it appears to be working right away. I tested it directly on my desk, it works. I mounted the master unit on the roof of my house and kept the slave unit at my shop 300 feet away, it worked. Then I installed a slave unit on the roof of my store (no blocking) and it stopped connecting to the master unit. Power cycled master and slave, still no…

Good value for money for a motorhome.

Works right out of the box. This is useful because the instructions in the Revain ad are better than what's inside. When installed with the included Category 5e patch cord and a personal 20-foot Category 5e outdoor Ethernet cable on each box, I get download speeds of 7.8 Mbps and upload speeds of 78.0 Mbps at a distance of 250 feet with line of sight outdoors using a 100 Mbit/s connection. Not bad, based on my results around 78% of the power is running at your input speed. I have changed my old

50/50 in my experience

I bought these to network to a garage to run multiple IP cameras. A job I did with them last year worked great. I have 6 5 MP cameras running on the link with no problems. This year I went to another job and configured them the same way but the cameras didn't get an IP address from the NVR. I noticed that the software versions are different on the devices (the new ones had a newer version than the previous set). I emailed the company and they responded quickly but stated that only the company…

Terrible product. to computers and accessories

Very bad. It's a pain to set it up. After about an hour it finally worked with devices about 6 inches apart. Took it to a real location where they are about 200 feet apart. I had to set it up again. My internet was down for an hour or so. I had to set it up again. There was a power outage. I had to set it up again. Do you understand? If any. I mean EVERYTHING. about a week. Then he decided to quit work. It's okay, I've practiced enough to set it up already. No, he was completely dead. You need…

Stay away if you plan to use IF for business.

The device does not log in with the default password. The support site itself is not HTTPS, an insecure site. Absolutely no documentation. The seller videos on youtube are weird and as expected all cons. This device has not been tested. The administrator does not log in with the default password "admin" and can therefore not configure. EDIT: After pulling my hair 10000 times, I found that login can only be done from the main device. The device kept showing strange symptoms like an unresponsive…

Great long distance bridge and ready to go

CPE 5.8 KuWFI Bridge I had instructions in Chinese that I can't read so I connected it straight away. I chose one for the master AP and one for the slave, and they worked the instructions with no fuss. On the cover of each block is a 4 digit display showing the letter and "149". I guess I got lucky with the slave, or maybe it just doesn't matter. If you don't have a connection, swap them out. The label on the device did not indicate which was the main access point. I have a 100 x 10 service…

Bad documentation; without support; infant mortality; but cheap.

Conclusion: It worked great at first, but only delivered about 25Mbps. Almost no security by default – public, published passwords and credentials. Terrible documentation. Through trial and error, I reached speeds of up to 80 Mbps. (I was hoping to get close to 100Mbps.) No tech support. After 2.5 days, one unit began to fail and failed permanently on the 4th day. Return, try another brand. More details: I got them to access the internet from my house to my barn, about 70 yards away, there are…
