I have an old, very old Dell Dimension 3000 desktop running Windows XP. Believe it or not, I still use it and it still works after all these years. But with all the new modern technologies, Java applets, Internet streaming, etc., the old Dell desktop with 512MB RAM was a dog. Flash drives, plugged in a new 1GB flash drive in the slot closest to the processor, closed the case, plugged everything back in, loaded the computer and bam! Flew flew to 1GB of RAM! Absolutely no problem. Now I want to go back to the same provider and buy another, just 2GB of 333MHz RAM (max for my Dell Dimension 3000) and really make it fly!
