Update: The seller contacted me and offered a replacement canopy. I accepted and it arrived quickly. I had not contacted the seller - they read my review and contacted me. So full marks for customer support. I am changing my rating to 5 stars to reflect this.Original reivew:The umbrella is easy to put together. The only "tricky" part is that there are 2 sets of bolts of different lengths. The documentation is clear on which to use first, but if you decide you don't need to read the manual then you will probably use the wrong bolts. So just read the instructions about which bolts to use on the base and you should be fine.Like all umbrellas, you need to do something to stop it falling over in the wind. Most people add weights, while some will fix it to their deck or into concrete. I went with weights and it holds up well.The reason for the 3 stars is that the stitching on one corner failed within a week of me getting the umbrella. My wife is handy with a sewing machine, so she took the corner apart and sewed it back. the problem appears to be that the piece of fabric used as a pocket for the struts was not sewed in well - too close to the edge and the fabric just gave.
