I also use this thermometer for brewing. I used it to measure both the mash temperature and the temperature after cooling in the fermentation bucket. It is easy to mount on the wall and very durable. It's only a degree away from my thermapen, so I trust its accuracy. I've kept it submerged (mashing and rinsing and being in the pellets in the chiller) for several hours and there has never been any water ingress. The only time I've had a problem was my own mistake (accidentally pulling the cable too hard) causing the wire to break. But since they are relatively cheap, I immediately ordered a new one. Overall a great thermometer, I recommend it to everyone.
