I got this for mine 2000 Dodge ordered 2500 Cummins which recently broke my remote control. It was really easy to set up, all I had to do was figure out "how to program a keyless remote for a 2000 Dodd 2500". After following the instructions I've never had any problems with the remote other than my beeper being disabled when locking on the truck. When programming a new key I found that this feature is disabled and you need to re-enable it to get it working again, which was as easy as programming the remote. Make sure your car don't need the old remote to program if you don't have it anymore or it may not work.
