I didn't quite understand that these needle holders have a magnet that slides back and forth when you tilt the holder. The problem I had was that you need an exact needle size to fit the tube. Some of my big needles were too big. I have a lot of small beading pins that I put in a holder. The pair slipped next to the magnet, getting stuck and unable to move. This prevented me from getting the needles out as they all got stuck on the end of the magnet. I ended up having to take a hammer and break the needle holder. All I really wanted but couldn't find was a simple tube to put needles in. I will use the tubing that comes with my plastic toothpicks. I think it will be perfect. Also, after a few days, the label on the needle holder fell off. I would not buy this product again.
