Review on 🍲 Efficiently Process Food with KitchenAid KFP0918BM Easy Store Food Processor, 9 Cup, in Sleek Black Matte by John Martin

Good enough for small appliances

I bought this kit to replace my old KitchenAid processor which finally broke after 20+ years of use. I've been using it for a few months now and am very happy with it. It's fairly easy to use and does a good job of chopping, chopping, and slicing. I like both high and low settings. I also like the slightly smaller feed hole in the lid and the insert that allows me to shred or chop carrots one at a time while staying vertical in the tube. Storing slices in the bowl takes up less space than an old tool storage box, which is handy, although it can be frustrating to remove everything but the blade I want to use. The machine is definitely less solid than my old machine, especially the latch that closes the lid as others have mentioned. I certainly don't expect it to last as long as my last stand mixer! However, I think it will do the job if I'm careful enough in how I use it.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Factor Kit
