Review on Lippert 285318 3500LB Power Tongue by Herb Guevara

Just bought this jack for our 30ft TT. Installation was pretty easy. The jack's bottom shaft is 2 1/4" in diameter and our bottom guide/support hole is 2 3/16" in diameter, so I had to enlarge it a bit. and used washers on top. never mind The hardware that came with it was cheap and of poor quality so we used Class 8 instead. The kit included a cable and a built in fuse - very thoughtful of them. The socket works as it should. a bit slower but it's designed to lift almost 2 tons so that's understandable. The jack lifts our 1000# weight and the back of our 3/4 ton is big enough for me to fit a handlebar. my Equal-i-zer clutch is no problem. Our tailgate will not lower with the jack installed, however this is dependent on the particular trailer and tractor combination. In general I am very satisfied.
