Inkjet Ink Compatibility

I bought this product to replace my ink that has run out and finally installed it and it said it couldn't read ink. It will not work with this printer even if it is listed as compatible. I'm rewriting my review - I've turned off the printer twice and now it recognizes the ink, but I'm not sure I'll buy it again until I've installed a second cartridge.
