Used on a 2014 FJ Cruiser to open the rear window with the key fob or unlock the door

Door to open the window. You have to insert the key and turn and hold for 3 seconds. That's just stupid of Toyota. So I found a good article on how to bypass this feature with this PAC TR-7 unit and use the key fob unlock button to unlock the rear window. Here is the description: [.] The description contains detailed information about the required parts and steps for installation. Programming on this device is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. You basically connect the black and red wires as negative and positive respectively and then use the brown wire by tapping the ground to program the device. every faucet. Then wait a few seconds and you will see the red light blink 15 times and you will be told which function to choose. Then just double tap again and it will blink again each time and then blink twice again to let you know you've selected two. Then press again and put it in timer mode and the light will flash again. Currently if you want to program the number of hours you can click here but for my purposes I don't do anything. It will then blink twice and click here if you want 10 minutes in your timing. In my case, I just let it go. And finally it flashes 3 times for where you want to program the number of seconds and for me it was only 3 times. When you are done with the settings, it will blink several times again and you can connect PAC TR-7. Works great for me, that's why I give it 5 stars.
