This is nothing more than a visible deterrent to a would-be thief. It looks solid and feels heavy, but it's pretty obvious that it's cast metal that will break instantly with a good blow of a hammer. The photo shows how it fits my street hitch - tight. It's also hard to block, but maybe it'll get better with time, I don't know. But a cheap wrench easily jams. Bottom line: if you need something that's just a visible deterrent, that's probably fine. If you want a strong lock that will really secure the hitch, look elsewhere.
