🔒 Master Lock - Trailer Locks, Universal Size - Fits 1-7/8", 2", and 2-5/16" Couplers - Model #389DAT Review

Made of forged steel, fits well and closes the clutch. Easy to put on and take off. Anything can be broken or removed if someone really wants something. I've looked at many other options, this one seems the most secure and difficult to remove without a key.

3 months in use, maybe 4 times and the thing sticks. The key does not turn the cylinder. Complete crap, better spend a little more for something that works. I have to try to pick the lock. We tried everything like butter, all heated to no avail. Very disappointed. Master Lock used to be a premium brand that could be trusted for good locks.

So I bought 2 of these for my trailers. I installed them about a week ago. I needed my trailer yesterday and even I couldn't get it. The castle was FROSTED after one night at 32 degrees. This is nothing more than a visible deterrent to a would-be thief. It looks solid and feels heavy, but it's pretty obvious that it's cast metal that will break instantly with a good blow of a hammer.
