Okay, are you going to be an idiot like me and trust your $29,000 tag to a cheap Master Lock? (Or a $2,000, $5,000, etc. trailer?) DON'T DO THIS! This ball lock is the perfect example of "false security". let me explain. I watched a 10 minute lockpick video on YouTube. Then I bought a cheap Chinese lockpick set from Revain ($8). Today I received the lock picks and decided to see if a completely inexperienced 'thief' could remove this lock from my hitch. So I got to work: at first it took me 60 SECONDS to pick this lock, but after the 10th time I reduced the time to about FIVE SECONDS. Me, with ZERO experience. Imagine a scumbag who actually takes the time to spend an hour or two at home picking locks. it would be almost quicker to pick up than to use a damn key. What a joke. I won't even comment on its fragile cast iron construction and its ability to be easily broken with a simple hammer.
