My wife and I bought a pair of these gloves about 8 months ago. While she likes hers, I can't say I was very happy with mine. I think the difference is in usage. Although we both use gloves in kickboxing practice three times a week, I hit the sacks harder, but I'm by no means the strongest hitter in the dojo. The seam of the thumb parted and tore. I found the wrist support to be weak and had to hold back impacts otherwise I felt like I might injure my wrist. My wife had no problems here either. We found them both comfortable gloves. Finally size. They walked very little. 8 inches around my palm when making a fist I usually go medium. With these gloves I am XL.
