Hi All, I bought these gloves a few weeks ago as a newbie to boxing/kickboxing. I've been using them to hit the speedbag since they came out and can say they're a great pair of gloves for the money. The straps provide good wrist support and are easily adjustable. The gloves have a nice piece of cloth that you can grab by clenching your fist, which is great for punching. My wife and I bought a pair of these gloves about 8 months ago. While she likes hers, I can't say I was very happy with mine. I think the difference is in usage. Although we both use gloves in kickboxing practice three times a week, I hit the sacks harder, but I'm by no means the strongest hitter in the dojo. The seam of the thumb parted and tore. I found the wrist support to be weak and had to hold back impacts otherwise I felt like I might injure my wrist. My wife had no problems here either.

I recently bought a Century Torrent T2 Pro to put in my basement. After 2.5 years of Taekwondo, we really only wear gloves when sparring. Any punches on a bag or pillow in the classroom are done with bare hands. Well, the longer sentences on the bag messed with my ankles. Bought Me Galua kickboxing gloves. It's good, not great. It's a bit small for me, although I do find I have thick arms as simply measuring width doesn't give a good indication of fit. Although I was still coming up judging by the dimensional grid, it was very dense.
