For years (decades actually!) I avoided loose leaf tea because I hated the inconvenience and mess that came with the various tea balls, spoons, and other implements I tried, not to mention it that they were rusty a short time. This marvelous tool will put an end to all these troubles! Since it is stainless steel, it will never rust. It's strong yet light and has so many tiny holes that you can see through if you hold it up to a light. The lid is lightly weighted so it's not easy to knock off the infuser, retains heat while the tea is brewing and serves as a stand for the infuser once the infusion is complete. It's absolutely PERFECT! And now I have a greatly expanded selection of teas to consider.
