🍵 Teabloom Universal Tea Infuser: Versatile Stainless Steel Filter for Mugs, Cups, and Teapots Review

This is exactly what I was looking for in loose tea. For years I've been frustrated with small stoppered teapots because they never seem to let the tea rise. It's perfect - it's big enough for tea to expand as needed, small enough to fit in my mug, balanced at the top so I can pull it out and designed to slip into the lid, as soon as i drink it's from. I'm so happy with it and finally feel like I can use loose tea.

First of all I love it! This twister is a fantastic size and fits all my mugs perfectly. It's long enough to dive deep into the water without hovering awkwardly above the surface (like some do). However, cleaning can be a little tricky. The holes are so tiny that small leaves get stuck in them and you have to rub them very hard to get them out. I'm very happy with it, all in all.

Fine mesh on the sides and base makes it ideal for even the 'dustiest' of tea. From time to time I drink mango tea, which has a lot of it and usually leaves a mess on the bottom of the cup. Not like that now. Still something, but nothing like before. Likewise. Very easy to clean, it's metal and doesn't stain like plastic. My ONLY complaint is that the metal feels flimsy, I always feel like I'll bend or damage it every time I pick it up.

Well made and I expect it to last a very very long time but be aware it's not good enough for rooibos -Tea is you will have little rooibos floating in the water. But otherwise big enough for the tea to float and I've been using it every day for months. I just clean it by throwing it in the dishwasher. If you don't drink rooibos tea I would 100% recommend this teapot, otherwise I would recommend buying something better.

I use it every day with my small glass teapot that I got for Christmas, it's easy to wash and clean with a toothbrush when the tea starts to get patches it. Doesn't alter the taste of the tea and even when I want to brew tea in a glass teapot I sometimes use it to strain into a cup. I even bought 3 more as gifts for co-workers trying to break the habit with these little tea balls. Water cannot circulate through the puffed-up leaves and the taste suffers greatly as a result. cool solution!

For many years I used a ball teapot with a clip and had to pry tea leaves out of my cup. I finally got this capped filter and I'm so glad I did! This filter is the best. There are no more tea leaves in my cup! I can even drink a large cup of tea because this filter contains a lot of loose tea. Thanks to the handles, removing the full filter from the cup is so easy!
