This little seesaw was perfect for our little one. It's high enough that we leave the floor open. It's not so much about keeping him in check (he can climb up or roll out if he really wants to) but in a specific space that is "his". We used him when he slept with mom and dad. We then put him in his big boy bed and that made the transition really easy. We also LOVE this sun lounger for staying in hotels or with family. It closes with a zipper and has a shoulder strap for easy portability. We always take him with us and no matter how strange we find ourselves in a new place, our little one knows where he belongs. Thanks to this, we have no problems putting him to sleep in new places. It has held up well to washing so far. I've added a layer of waterproof fabric around the "mattress" inside for extra protection from accidents. I highly recommend it. It costs money.
